A yarn produced in Italy, in the Como textile district, from pre-consumer textile waste and processing scraps of virgin Mulberry silk. In addition to giving a second life to industrial waste and avoiding unnecessary loss, this yarn can be defined as cruelty-free since no silkworms were directly harmed to produce it.
50% of this yarn is GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified thanks to full traceability of the batches of origin. The remaining 50%, while being high-quality recycled silk, comes from industrial textile surpluses that lack formal certification.
