Recycled Cashmere

To be washed carefully to prevent shrinkage

Produced through a traditional mechanical process in Prato to recycle textile waste, this cashmere yarn uses second-hand wool and cashmere garments. The initial material selection is based on color, after which it is shredded back into fiber through carding. The resulting fiber is then spun, creating a new recycled yarn.
This technique reduces water consumption and chemical use, promoting the production of cashmere with a lower impact compared to virgin yarn.

By using recycled textile fibers, we pass on the craft of the cenciaioli, a tradition with over 100 years of history in the Prato textile district.

This garment is made with GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified yarn.
