The first polyester-free fleece
THE 100% RECYCLED WOOL FLEECE JACKET FOT MEN AND WOMEN
Why is polyester a problem?
All petroleum-based textiles make a garment non-biodegradable and often not even recyclable.
That’s why we took the garment that usually doesn’t exist in natural fibers and made it circular.
A 100% recycled wool fleece
Our fleece is made from soft teddy fabric in 100% GRS-certified recycled wool and locally produced in the renowned textile district of Prato, Italy.
Its mono-material composition combines 63% pre-consumer wool and 37% post-consumer wool, making this wool fleece fully recyclable again through our used garment take-back service.
Breathable and thermoregulating
Unlike classic polyester fleeces, this outerwear piece is made entirely from natural fibers. It retains heat and absorbs moisture, preventing sweat from being trapped inside.
This feature makes it breathable and helps reduce washing. To remove odors, for example, you can choose to air out the garment.
However, its pure wool composition requires special care when washing and must be dry cleaned.

Does not release microplastics
We designed these winter garments because pieces with a natural composition and no polyester are practically impossible to find.
Every time we wash something in the machine that contains petroleum-based fibers, we release billions of microplastic particles that eventually end up in the oceans and waterways.
Learn more about each garment's environmental impact through the assessment provided by the Bcome platform, available on every product page.
