A project with concrete social impact
Together with other local partners we have created a project of great social value, a training course for "cenciaioli", spinners and new artisans , intended for people coming from reception activities and for migrants living in the area.
We donate 1% of our annual turnover to Nei Nostri Panni to make positive change possible.
Integration and tradition
Nei Nostri Panni was created to turn a challenge into an opportunity.
Together with the Fondazione Opera Santa Rita, a local reception center, we involve people in vulnerable situations by providing them with a professional training opportunity.
This facilitates generational renewal in the sector and creates new opportunities.
What is considered waste becomes a resource.
Learning a craft, building a future
The selected candidates will undergo classroom training and obtain all the certifications needed to work in the companies, such as safety and fire protection.
Afterwards there will be a paid internship in the company, during which they will learn the craft of the spinner or the cenciaiolo, the artisans of textile recycling in Prato's textile district.
1st edition 2022
In the first edition 5 people were trained and in December 2022 all the selected profiles were hired.
2nd edition 2023
The second edition began in March 2023 with 12 paid internships also in the carded spinning sector, another textile tradition deeply linked to our territory.
3rd edition 2024
After some interruptions due to the economic crisis in the textile sector and the flood that hit Prato at the end of 2023, the new training will start in September 2024.
