The tie-dye t-shirt Raku is a unisex garment whose color comes from mineral-based natural pigments. Its special natural dyeing is hand-made on each garment, making each piece unique and completely biodegradable, thanks to the 100% sustainable cotton composition.

COMPOSITION: 50% recycled cotton from production surplus, 50% organic cotton. This certified yarn contains a greater content of organic, virgin cotton, which enabled the creation of a 100% sustainable and recyclable garment.

WASHING CARE: Hand washing is recommended. Wash it inside out and dry away from direct sunlight. Iron at low temperatures, avoid tumble drying and dry cleaning. Click here for more information on how to take care of Rifò garments.

OVER: This garment has a particularly loose and generous fit. According to your preferences, consider choosing the size that corresponds to your measurements or sizing down. Read our size guide for further information.

By purchasing this garment you can...

      Choose natural mineral colors

Each of these t-shirts is hand-dyed using three mineral-based colorations: iron oxide for yellow, kyanite for blue, and magnetite for gray.

Natural dyeing does not involve any chemical substances, except for a mild fixative to bond the color to the fabric. Therefore, once they end up in the drains, the plant-based powders used for this particular dyeing process do not pollute groundwater and help make a garment even more biodegradable.

      Support local artisans

This garment is meticulously handcrafted in Andrea and Paola's workshop, Confezione Nove Nove Sei srl, located just 12 km from our office. We have been cooperating with this company since we started making t-shirts and polo shirts, and we have always entrusted this production to them.

In 2022, we initiated a supply chain sustainability monitoring project focusing on social sustainability aspects, with the help of the auditing company Bureau Veritas. By 2025, we aim to subject all our clothing suppliers to this verification, including Nove Nove Sei srl, to ensure that we prioritize social responsibility and sustainability across all aspects of our business.

      Contribute to our social project

For every purchase made on our online shop, we donate €2 to the social impact project Nei Nostri Panni. This project aims to safeguard the artisanal skills of textile recycling in Prato, which are at risk of being lost without a new generation taking up these crafts. The donation will contribute to funding paid training for migrants coming from local reception centers. This initiative combines social integration with the preservation of traditional craftsmanship.
