Rifò was born in Prato, a city full of art and with an important industrial tradition and know-how.
Through 2lovePrato Rifò is committed to give something back to the community within which it was born, promoting various solidarity projects.
We collaborate with local voluntary associations and finance concrete projects, which we follow together with the associations.
For this reason, for every purchase made in the Rifò online shop, you can choose a project and we donate 2 euros to a social project in the local area.

A refuge for the environment
Mountain huts are magical and timeless places. For all the values and emotions that this places represents, we have decided to finance a project in collaboration with Legambiente Prato, aimed at enhancing the Cascina le Cave di Cantagallo hut, in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
Immersed in a deciduous forests, the refuge is managed by volunteers and professional environmental guides, very attached to sustainabilityn values. The main objective of the Rifò-funded project is to make the refuge even more sustainable and completely independent from an energy point of view, through the installation of a photovoltaic system. Furthermore Rifò wants to promote activities for young people. For this reason a part the earnings will be used for useful tools for the didactic activities of the refuge.

ABC, the alphabet of mothers
The exchange between family and school is a fundamental step for the growth of the child. But what happens when these two environments fail to communicate as expected?
Through the support of psychologists and psychotherapists, ABC aims to insert the Nigerian mothers of Prato in a path of parenting support. The goal is to follow better their children in the school path and also in sport, enhancing their skills, their culture and supporting language learning and integration into the local society.

An educational garden in the city
An old vegetable garden once held by the Capuchin Friars, becomes the scenario for an environmental education project for children and kids, from 3 to 15 years. Rifò renews its collaboration with the Prato non-profit organization Opera Santa Rita to give life to a project to teach young people biodiversity, good nutrition and the role that plants have for the life of the planet. Through the tools purchased with the contribution of Rifò, the children will be able to see the fruit of their work sprout, using recovery resources, such as rainwater and natural fertilizers, and will understand the importance of self-production.

AllattAMI
Breastfeeding is an important choice. This is why we need to facilitate this natural gesture, especially in public places. The project proposed by AMI, a non-profit organization that supports the maternity unit of Prato hospital, convinced us immediately for the concrete repercussions it will have on the daily life of our community, even on the newborn one. The idea is to facilitate the lives of women and babies in a pleasant and reserved place.
Thanks to the contribution of Rifò customers, AMI will build a corner in the hospital hall dedicated to women who will be able to use it to breastfeed, or even change their children.

A sea of opportunity
A sailboat and 15 young people with behavioral problems who engage themselves into a sailing project.
It might seem like the plot of a film, instead it is the project that Rifò financed in collaboration with the non-profit organization Opera Santa Rita, which deals with children in difficult family situation.
During the various phases of the project, the children learned the basics of becoming sailors, starting from the restoration of a small drift, the test of their skills in the Bilancino lake, up to a three-day trip.
