A project that protects women and the textile tradition
A new social impact initiative created by Rifò and the Manusa Social Cooperative: 9 vulnerable women learning linking and mending techniques.
At the end of the training, at least 2 of them will be hired by Manusa, while the others will have learned a highly sought-after and increasingly rare craft in the knitwear industry.

The art of linking
The linking technique allows for the creation of a quality knitwear garment. Thanks to this special circular machine, all pieces of a sweater can be joined with precision, creating clean and refined craftsmanship.

The Social Knitwear Workshop - Maglificio Sociale - aims to establish itself as a viable production company capable of sustaining itself economically. A long-term vision project to create opportunities and offer the district a specialized skill that is highly sought-after and increasingly rare.
1% of our turnover
Starting in 2027, we will donate 1% of our annual turnover to the training and development of the project. For the first time, we are integrating a social initiative into our production chain, and once fully operational, the Social Knitwear Workshop will also contribute to manufacturing Rifò knitwear.
