DETAILS

The recycled cotton beach towel Aurora has a striped pattern and an incredibly soft texture. Designed with a unique herringbone weave.

We designed it as a beach towel, because it's practical and absorbent, but it could also make for a beautiful summer bedspread, sofa cover or versatile picnic blanket.

DIMENSIONS: 180 x 140 cm  

COMPOSITION: 100% cotton, of which a variable percentage from 60% to 62% is recycled

WASHING CARE: Take care of your Rifò towel by washing it at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Make sure to avoid ironing the logo label, as its recycled polyester material may get damaged at high temperatures.

ORIGIN

The recycled cotton beach towels are made with yarn obtained from textile surplus and are woven in Prato.

The recycled yarns we use are certified.

Have a positive impact

How it was made

Locally woven, Rifò beach towels are made of 100 percent cotton, with 60 to 80 percent of it being recycled, and the rest being virgin to increase strength.

Social impact

For every purchase on our online shop, we will donate 2€ to the social impact project ** Nei nostri panni, cenciaiolis to be, which aims to create a school for cenciaioli, the artisans of textile recycling. Every donation will support the training of young people coming from the local immigrant reception centres.

Who made it

Rifò beach towels are woven by David with the help of Gabriele in Prato, with looms that have been in operation for more than 50 years!

Because we produce small quantities to limit waste, which makes it difficult for us to lower unit costs.
