Used clothes take-back service
We recycle your wool, cashmere, cotton and denim garments through our used clothing collection service, transforming them into new textile resources.
How does it work?
Step 1
Check the composition label
Make sure the garments are made of a single material. We tolerate up to 5% of a second material (for example, 95% wool or cashmere + 5% cashmere or wool; in the case of jeans and cotton, 95% cotton + up to 5% of any other fiber).
Step 2
Choose a delivery method
You have two options: to send us your used clothes, you can either book a free home pickup by courier (by sending a minimum of 5 items) by filling out the form below, or find the nearest drop-off point using the map on this page.
Step 3
Get a discount
Every small gesture counts. With each delivery, you’ll receive a 20% discount voucher to use on our online shop and in-store for a minimum order of €50. Vouchers cannot be combined in a single order or with other codes.
You will receive one discount code per delivery, regardless of the number of items you send.

You can drop off your items at one of the collection points and receive a voucher usable on our website.
Alternatively, at a Rifò retailer, in this case the discount is at the discretion of the merchant and valid on the merchandise sold in that store.

Ship your garments by courier
After making sure that your garments are made up of at least 95% cashmere, wool or cotton, in the case of jeans, Book a shipment at our expense for a minimum of 5 pieces.
You will receive an email with all the instructions for sending your items through a UPS access point.
The choice on the minimum number of garments is dictated by our desire to limit the CO₂ impact of transport, but remember that you can always also collect garments from family, friends and acquaintances to reach the minimum required.

Is Rifò’s used clothing collection free?
Yes, sending used clothing—either via our physical drop-off points or by courier—is free. Rifò covers the shipping costs to encourage participation in the circular economy.
How can I send my used clothes by courier?
Sending your used clothes by courier is easy and free. Simply fill out the dedicated form on our website and prepare at least 5 eligible garments (wool, cashmere, jeans or cotton with at least 95% natural fiber).Follow the instructions sent by email to receive a prepaid label and choose the nearest UPS access point to ship the parcel.

What happens after used clothing collection?
We have joined forces with the cooperative Recooper to create a circular, sustainable and local model, which follows these steps:
The used clothing delivered to our collection boxes arrives in Bologna, at the social cooperative La Fraternità.
Here they are selected to be revalued as second-hand clothes through the network of second-hand shops AND Circular.
If this is not possible, they are included in the recycling process which takes place in Prato, a few kilometers from our headquarters.
A yarn locally recycled in Prato, Tuscany
Once selected by the La Fraternità social cooperative, wool, cashmere and jeans return to Prato, to the companies in our textile district that deal with recycling, to be selected by color and composition before being recycled without the need for a new high-impact dye.
In the case of jeans, the recycled material is then transformed by Pinori Filati Spa to create its iconic recycled denim yarn, with which we create our collection of recycled denim knitwear.
Likewise, the material that comes from old wool and cashmere sweaters is transformed into a new yarn by Filpucci Spa, a historic Prato spinning mill and our supplier for the creation of new sustainable garments and accessories in recycled wool and cashmere.
Jeans take-back service for companies
To spread the circular economy and the used jeans take-back service, we have worked in synergy with many virtuous Italian companies. Today you can also find Re-Think Your Jeans in shared spaces and workplaces such as Nana Bianca, Impact Hub, IED and Talent Garden.
