Recycled Cotton Beach Towel Maestrale
The Maestrale beach towel has been designed in a single colour, but it contains no less than 6 weaves that enrich it by alternating along its length in different sizes, giving it a sophisticated finish.
We designed it as a beach towel, because it absorbs water, but it could also become a beautiful summer bedspread or a sofa cover.
DIMENSIONS: 180x140 cm
COMPOSITION: 80% recycled cotton, 20% natural cotton.
WASHING CARE: To increase the durability of the Rifò Towels, we suggest to wash them at 30 degrees with the gentle cycle.
The recycled cotton beach towels are made with yarn obtained from textile waste and they are woven in Prato.
The recycled cotton yarn we use is GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified, this guarantees its traceability and sustainability.
The virgin part, on the other hand, it is produced according to the BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) standards, which aims to protect the communities and ecosystems where cotton is produced.
For every purchase on our online shop, we will donate 2€ to the social impact project Nei nostri panni, cenciaiolis to be, which aims to create a school for the artisans of textile recycling. Every donation will support the training of young people coming from the local immigrant reception centres.
