100% Recycled Sleeveless Polo Shirt
With the 100% recycled polo shirt we give a new life not only to cotton waste, but also to plastic bottles, which would otherwise end up polluting the world.
We produce huge and completely useless quantities of virgin polyester, why can't we only use recycled polyester?
How it is made
The piqué fabric is the classic one of polo shirts. However, its composition has something extra: 52% regenerated cotton and 48% recycled polyester from plastic bottles.
To create this fabric, a technique that was falling into disuse was literally dusted off. Once the dust has been removed from the machinery, the piqué is back in Prato!
The Helen polo shirt is dedicated to the famous 1930s tennis player Helen Wills Moody, who was the first to use a comfortable women's sportswear. With her style she shortened the skirts, long until the ankle, and freed the female players from uncomfortable corsages.
