The half organic, half recycled polo shirts
How it is made
With this composition we achieved the goal of a recycled but completely natural jersey fabric. 50% is made from recycled cotton from industrial waste, while the other 50% is made from virgin organic cotton.
To create this fabric, a technique that was falling into disuse was literally dusted off. Once the dust has been removed from the machinery, the piquet is back in Prato!
With the 100% recycled polo shirt we give a new life not only to cotton waste, but also to plastic bottles, which would otherwise end up polluting the world.
We produce huge and completely useless quantities of virgin polyester, why can't we only use recycled polyester?
Who made it
The polo shirts from Rifò are made by Paola in the family business in Prato, which is specialized in jersey.
