Created from the scraps of our recycled polo shirts, the laundry bags proove that it is possible not to waste even an inch of fabric. Useful when traveling to put the laundry, but also anything else in your suitcase. Each little bag is made with two pieces of recycled piqué sewn together. It can be closed through a practical drawstring with a contrasting internal ribbon.
Limited edition: The laundry bags are available in blue, white, beige, black and red. With our scraps we were able to make more or less 900 of them, 300 packs, so you will receive a pack of three products in the colors available chosen for you by Rifò Team.
Dimensions: 25x40 cm
COMPOSITION: 50% recycled cotton from production waste, 47% polyester made from recycled bottles, 3% other fibers. What are the other fibers? The yarn that comes from production waste hems and other finishes, but cannot be traced.
WASHING CARE: Wash the laundry bags at 30° with a gentle cycle.
The laundry bags are tailored by Paola, the artisan located 21 Km from our showroom. The recycled cotton yarn we use is GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and Oeko Tex 100 certified.
For every purchase on our online shop we donate 2 € to a social impact project. Donations are equally distributed to the various associations. Learn more about the projects here.
Through our laundry bags we want to share a zero waste idea, regarding the fabrics but even the resources spent for their realization. For this reason we have put a condition, they can't be exchanged or returned. This would be more polluting than their realization.
2 YEARS LOVE LASTS WARRANTY 2 YEAR: All Rifò garments are handcrafted with passion, respecting high quality standards. If you ever find some manufacturing imperfection in Rifò products, we will repair them and return them to you as new. For more information visit this page.

Who Made them
To give a new life to these leftovers, we went to Paola, the artisan who sews our jersey and piqué garments, with various ideas in mind that came to life through her sewing machine.

Environmental Impact
This piqué fabric gives a new life not only to cotton waste, but also to plastic bottles, which would otherwise end up polluting the world.
We produce huge and completely useless quantities of virgin polyester, why can't we only use recycled polyester?

Would it be possible to produce without waste?
Very difficult. For example, these piqué fabric scraps come from the cut of the piece during the manifacturing. We have about 520 meters of this fabric in different colors, with a height between 15 and 20 cm. These are small pieces, because the cutting machine has a standard width and part of the fabric remains outside.

How they were born
When we realized we had such an important leftover of recycled piqué fabric we thought it had to be reused in some way, but for something useful. This is why we launched a survey to ask people which was the best idea.
