DETAILS
This women's recycled cashmere crewneck is a unique hand-dyed piece. It's the result of an artisanal dyeing process that provides a stunning sunset-inspired chromatic effect. Each piece was hand-dyed using two natural plant-based pigments that create a two-tone contrast and have a low environmental impact, making this sweater completely biodegradable and sustainable.

MATERIAL
COMPOSITION: 95% recycled cashmere, 5% recycled wool.
This cashmere garment is crafted from certified yarns, recycled by textile artisans in Prato. By doing so, we uphold the tradition of our district that dates back over a century, while reducing the consumption of water and chemicals.
WASHING CARE: It is recommended to wash separately, preferably by hand in cold water or on a gentle cycle setting the machine at a maximum of 30°C. The product may bleed during the initial washes, but this does not compromise the color's integrity.
If you choose to hand wash, it is advisable to gently remove excess water with a towel without squeezing. Dry it flat.

Do not use a dryer, do not bleach, or iron at low temperatures to best preserve its qualities. Avoid direct exposure to light.
Any variation in the garment compared to the product images should be considered a unique feature of the crafting process.

This garment is made with pre-loved yarn, obtained through the recycling of old knitted garments, carefully selected by color and composition. Thanks to this process, there is no need to re-dye the recycled yarn, which significantly reduces the consumption of water, dyes, and polluting chemicals.

MADE IN ITALY
This garment is meticulously handcrafted in Lena and Bruno's workshop, Tricot s.r.l, located just 12 km from our office. We have been collaborating with this small family business since the inception of the Rifò project, growing together with each production.
In 2022, we initiated a supply chain sustainability monitoring project focusing on social sustainability aspects, with the help of the auditing company Bureau Veritas. By 2025, we aim to subject all our clothing suppliers to this verification, including Tricot s.r.l, to ensure that we prioritize social responsibility and sustainability across all aspects of our business.
Contribute to our social project
NEI NOSTRI PANNI PROJECT
For every purchase made on our online shop, we donate €2 to the social impact project Nei Nostri Panni. This project aims to safeguard the artisanal skills of textile recycling in Prato, which are at risk of being lost without a new generation taking up these crafts. The donation will contribute to funding paid training for migrants coming from local reception centers. This initiative combines social integration with the preservation of traditional craftsmanship.
