Description
Limited edition zero waste striped socks. We recovered the cone bottoms of the recycled cotton and combined it with recycled polyester to create these lively socks. Generally, this yarn is thrown away because it is easier than to reuse it, but thanks to our artisans we accepted the challenge.
This pack contains two pair of socks, both with the color combination red + grey + blue.
COMPOSITION: 52% recycled cotton, 48% recycled polyester.
WASHING: To make your socks last, wash them at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle. If you can, wash by hand, especially to preserve the light and dark contrasting colors details.
ORIGIN
Rifò cotton socks are made by Daniela, in her historic hosiery and tights company.
The recycled yarns we use are rifo-lab.com/en/pages/materie-prime-seconde" target="_blank" title="Material certification" rel="noopener noreferrer">certified.
SOCIAL IMPACT
For every purchase on our online shop, we will donate 2€ to the social impact project rifo-lab.com/en/pages/nei-nostri-panni" target="_blank">Nei nostri panni, cenciaiolis to be, which aims to create a school for ragmen, the artisans of textile recycling. Every donation will support the training of young people coming from the local immigrant reception centres.

We donate 1% of our annual turnover to “Nei Nostri Panni”. Together with other partners we combine social integration and generational renewal in the textile sector.
