Each garment deserves to be treated so that it can last a long time.
We advise you, in general, to wash your Rifò clothes and accessories by hand in order to better preserve the material, and at the same time making a significant gesture for the health of the planet.
Here are some specific tips for washing and drying your Rifò products, even in the washing machine.
Recycled cashmere garments and accessories
The less we use the washing machine, the better! We strongly recommend that you wash yourrecycled cashmere garments by hand to keep the quality at their best. You can also choose a 30 ° washing machine delicate program. If you decide to wash them by hand, then make a light centrifuge to drain the water, then dry them naturally by laying them on a horizontal surface. This last step is very important to prevent the lower part of the garment from deforming!
Recycled cotton beach towels and shawls
To ensure that our towels are always perfect, we advise you to wash them at a maximum of 30 ° with a delicate program.
Again you can choose to wash them by hand to extend their life even more. We also advise you to dry them by laying them on a traditional laundry line.
Recycled cotton Polo and T-Shirt
To make sure that our T-shirts and Polo shirts always fit you, we recommend to wash them at a maximum of 30 ° with the delicate program, even if it is always better to wash it by hand. Do not tumble dry them, but lay them on a clothesline.
Recycled cotton sweater
The denim yarn of our sweaters behaves in a similar way to the classic trousers' one. After a few times that you wear it, it may widen a little. At that point, you can wash your sweater in the washing machine to get it sweater back in shape: opt for a normal 30 ° wash.
If you decide to wash it by hand, do a light centrifuge to drain the water and dry them naturally by spreading them out on a horizontal plane: this yarn is very subject to elongations given by the weight of the water.
Recycled denim garments
Recycled denim fabric requires slightly more maintenance and washing care than a normal denim fabric. It is better to always prefer to wash it by hand with warm water. It is still possible washing it at 30 ° with a cycle for delicates. It absolutely not recommended the use of bleach as for all normal denim canvases, because they would lead to the lightening of blue. Finally you will need to iron the garment, even with an iron at maximum temperature.
