DETAILS

The Nello recycled cotton socks are a unisex model and fit approximately 13 cm above the ankle. Available in several colour combinations, in both striped and jacquard logo versions.

MATERIAL

COMPOSITION: 45% virgin cotton, 45% recycled cotton, 5% polyamide, 5% lycra.

WASHING CARE: To make your socks last longer, wash them on a gentle cycle setting at a maximum of 30°C. If you can, prefer hand washing, especially for light and dark contrasting colors.

RECYCLED AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS

These accessories are made with a certified yarn from the recycling of industrial cotton surplus combined with organic cotton, leading to substantial water savings and a reduction in the use of chemicals. A small percentage of synthetic fibers was added to make these socks more durable, stretchy, and comfortable. At the end of their life, they can be recycled and transformed into the felt we use for our low-impact Fluffypack packaging.

This piece is meticulously handcrafted by Calzificio Dany srl located in Brescia, a company specialized in the production of high-quality, classic, and sports socks, with over thirty years of experience in the industry.

In 2022, we initiated a supply chain sustainability monitoring project focusing on social sustainability aspects with the help of the auditing company Bureau Veritas. By 2025, we aim to subject all our clothing suppliers to this verification, including Calzificio Dany srl, to ensure that we prioritize social responsibility and sustainability across all aspects of our business.

NEI NOSTRI PANNI PROJECT

For every purchase made on our online shop, we donate €2 to the social impact project Nei Nostri Panni. This project aims to safeguard the artisanal skills of textile recycling in Prato, which are at risk of being lost without a new generation taking up these crafts.
